Hello Dragonfly, Wow, what a fantastic backyard you have. So much potential! I can just picture it next year, or a few years hence. Are you going to make a plan for it? And the back side of your house is just asking for a nice porch, with sliding doors opening to the garden. What a dream! I am curious to find out where you live and what kind of climate you have there. It seems that in Holland, where I live the season is much further along. Everything is out now, the tulips and blooms have long vanished and now the growing season starts in earnest. Shortly, I will hop on my bike and take a look at my community garden. Haven't been there for a week and I imagine it needs a bit of weeding. We have had enough rain this week so I won't have to water the plants. I look forward to following the progress of this great piece of land.

Thanks Yob :) Our climate here in Virginia is fickle--muggy and hot one day, and breezy and almost cold the next.
We are planning to have a fence installed this summer. Our neighborhood has restrictions on the type of fence. It has to be wrought iron, not wooden.
We'll have to make plans for some privacy shrubs and lots of leafy evergreens.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of the lovely pictures you are going to be posting of your garden and harvests this growing season.
